The Inside Story
By Reuben Cele, Boys Rugby U18A – 2027
On Tuesday, some old boys came to speak to the U18A team. One of them played in the 2009 InterSchools and still remembered the score, the weather and who scored the winning try.
That's when it sank in: what we do on Wednesday will be remembered. Not just by us, but by the school.
We've trained hard. Our defence is the best it has been all season, and our lineout is finally working. But this week has been more about pride than tactics. Pride in the jersey, in our school, and in every learner who'll be standing on the sideline.
14:00, Rugby A Field. Let's finish the day the right way.
