The Inside Story
By Kayla van Zyl, Girls Netball U14A – 2027
I have never been this nervous and this excited at the same time. Our U14A netball team plays at 10:00 on Netball A Court, the very first netball game of InterSchools!
I play Goal Attack, and I've been practising my shooting every break this week. My friends from the choir even came to cheer during practice to "get us used to the noise." It worked. And it was very loud.
Our coach gave each of us a note with one thing she loves about the way we play. Mine says, "You never give up on a loose ball." I've put it in my kit bag.
HS Menlopark, see you on court. SchoolDemo is ready!
