The Inside Story
By Ayesha de Villiers, Girls Hockey U17A – 2027
People ask why InterSchools is such a big deal. Here's my answer.
It's the only week of the year when the whole school stands together. The rugby boys cheer for netball, the choir sings between games, and teachers who have never watched hockey suddenly know the rules.
For me, playing for the U17A hockey team at 13:00 on Astro A is a chance to say thank you to everyone who supports us all year: our coaches, parents and friends, and the groundsmen who keep the turf perfect.
We'll give everything on Wednesday. That's what SchoolDemo does.
