The Inside Story

Last year's InterSchools didn't go our way. We lost by three points in the final minute, and I still remember the silence on the bus home. This year the U16A team made a promise to each other: no regrets.
We've watched the video of that last minute more times than I can count. Coach made us analyse every mistake, not to feel bad, but to make sure it never happens again.
There's a different energy in the squad now. Guys are staying after practice to work on kicking, and the forwards have been doing extra scrum sessions on their own. It's 12:00 on Wednesday, Rugby A Field, and I can't wait.
Whatever happens, we're leaving everything on that field.
