If you walked past the rugby fields on Tuesday afternoon you probably heard us before you saw us. The U15A team has been practising the war cry like it's a test we have to pass, and in a way it is.
Last year we were the youngest guys on the field and kind of hid at the back during the war cry. This year we're right in the middle of it, and our captain says we have to mean every word.
We play at 11:00, straight after the U14s, so we'll be warming up while they finish. I already know I'll be watching their last ten minutes instead of stretching. Coach says that's fine as long as I'm loud.
Menlopark, we're coming. And you'll hear us first.
